About Pride Royal Oak

Our mission: Celebrating diversity, fostering inclusivity, and embracing unity, the Pride Royal Oak Festival strives to create a vibrant and supportive space where the lgbtqia+ community, and all individuals, are celebrated and accepted.

MEET OUR PARENT ORGANIZATION:

Shakespeare Royal Oak

Since 2024 Pride Royal Oak has been presented as a non-profit event in partnership with the professional outdoor festival Shakespeare Royal Oak, now entering its 26th season.

In 2026, Shakespeare Royal Oak presents:

As You Like It

Directed by Kelli Rademacher

Eight Shows: July 23 - August 2, 2026

As You Like It is a vivid celebration of how we find ourselves and each other in the unlikeliest of places. Set in the city of Detroit in 1833, join Rosalind and the colorful inhabitants of the Forest of Arden as they seek love, adventure and a new way of life.
